Ensemble, ils ont r&eacute;colt&eacute; </strong></em><strong>2.505.867 </strong><em><strong>euros pour financer la recherche sur les cancers p&eacute;diatriques. Une mobilisation record pour l&rsquo;&eacute;v&eacute;nement, qui confirme, ann&eacute;e apr&egrave;s ann&eacute;e, l&rsquo;ampleur de la mobilisation pour les enfants atteints d&rsquo;un cancer.</strong></em></p><p>Enfants, parents, proches, chercheurs, entreprises et sympathisants ont couru ou march&eacute; 2, 5 ou 10 kilom&egrave;tres avec un m&ecirc;me objectif : faire progresser les traitements contre les cancers p&eacute;diatriques.</p><p>100 % des dons r&eacute;colt&eacute;s seront investis dans <a href=\"https://kickcancer.org/fr/financement-projets-recherche-cancer-pediatrique\">six projets de recherche internationaux</a>, s&eacute;lectionn&eacute;s dans le cadre du programme FIGHT KIDS CANCER, une initiative men&eacute;e conjointement avec des organisations partenaires en France, au Luxembourg, en Espagne et aux Pays-Bas.</p><h4 id=\"accelerer-la-recherche-sur-les-sarcomes\" ><u>Acc&eacute;l&eacute;rer la recherche sur les sarcomes</u></h4><p>Pour cette 9<sup>&egrave;me</sup> &eacute;dition, RUN TO KICK a plac&eacute; les sarcomes au c&oelig;ur de sa mobilisation, le deuxi&egrave;me type de cancers p&eacute;diatriques le moins curable.</p><p>Pour Delphine Heenen, fondatrice de KickCancer, cette &eacute;dition a eu une r&eacute;sonance toute particuli&egrave;re. Cette ann&eacute;e avait une dimension toute particuli&egrave;re pour moi, puisque nous avons couru pour faire avancer la recherche sur les sarcomes, le type de cancer dont est d&eacute;c&eacute;d&eacute; mon fils Rapha&euml;l. Voir aujourd&rsquo;hui 5 000 personnes motiv&eacute;es pour gu&eacute;rir les enfants atteints d&rsquo;un cancer me touche &eacute;norm&eacute;ment. Chaque euro r&eacute;colt&eacute; nous rapproche de traitements plus efficaces et moins toxiques pour les enfants atteints d&rsquo;un cancer. &raquo; </h4><h4 id=\"courir-pour-soi-mais-aussi-pour-les-autres\" ><u>Courir pour soi, mais aussi pour les autres</u></h4><p>5.000 participants. <strong>2.505.867 </strong>euro. Une nouvelle &eacute;tape franchie pour atteindre la mission de KickCancer : gu&eacute;rir tous les enfants atteints d&rsquo;un cancer.</p><p>Parmi les 5 000 participants figurait &eacute;galement Edith, 12 ans. Trois semaines &agrave; peine avant l&rsquo;&eacute;dition 2025 de RUN TO KICK, des m&eacute;decins lui ont diagnostiqu&eacute; un sarcome d&rsquo;Ewing. L&rsquo;ann&eacute;e derni&egrave;re, elle suivait encore la course depuis sa chambre d&rsquo;h&ocirc;pital. Je cours pour tous les enfants qui sont malades aujourd&rsquo;hui, pour qu&rsquo;ils puissent avoir de meilleurs traitements et, eux aussi, aller mieux. &raquo; Edith, 12 ans</h4><h4  ></h4><h4 id=\"du-bois-de-la-cambre-au-laboratoire\" ><u>Du Bois de la Cambre au laboratoire</u></h4><p>Les fonds r&eacute;colt&eacute;s lors de RUN TO KICK permettent de financer des projets de recherche tr&egrave;s concrets.</p><p>C&rsquo;est notamment le cas de SPARC un projet international dirig&eacute; par le Pr Bram De Wilde, oncologue p&eacute;diatrique &agrave; l&rsquo;UZ Gent, et soutenu gr&acirc;ce &agrave; cette &eacute;dition de RUN TO KICK.</p><p>Le projet &eacute;tudie comment diff&eacute;rentes combinaisons de m&eacute;dicaments peuvent &ecirc;tre test&eacute;es beaucoup plus rapidement sur le tissu tumoral d&rsquo;enfants atteints d&rsquo;un sarcome.
